The Pinot You'll Keep Coming Back To
Pinot Noir is one of the world's most celebrated red grape varieties, prized for its elegance, finesse and expressive fruit. Originally from Burgundy in France, it thrives in cooler climates where it develops vibrant red berry flavours, subtle spice and beautifully balanced acidity.
Typically lighter in body than Shiraz or Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir is loved for its silky texture, refined tannins and remarkable versatility at the table. Whether you're discovering red wine for the first time or already a Pinot enthusiast, it's a style that rewards every glass.

Delicate in Style. Rich in Character.
At Brown Brothers, Pinot Noir is all about showcasing vibrant fruit and balance. Sourced from premium cool-climate vineyards, including Tasmania, our Pinot Noir displays layers of ripe raspberry and strawberry, complemented by gentle spice, savoury complexity and soft, silky tannins.
The result is an elegant yet approachable wine with freshness, depth and a long, satisfying finish. Perfect for both everyday occasions and special meals.
Serve It Right
Pinot Noir is best enjoyed slightly cooler than most red wines, at 14–16°C. While delicious to enjoy now, premium Pinot Noir can continue to develop savoury complexity with careful cellaring. The Brown Brothers Pinot Noir, for example, was crafted with ageing potential of six to ten years.
Pinot Noir's bright acidity and silky texture make it one of the most food-friendly red wines.
It pairs beautifully with grilled tuna, roast duck, barbecued quail and char-grilled Mediterranean vegetable terrine.
