Brown Brothers is heading up north this winter bringing a unique winery experience on the road for an epic Wine and Food Festival. Over three days the festival will offer various wine, food and entertainment experiences partnering with local businesses and venues.
Friday 25.06 – Opening Dinner @ A Touch of Salt
Get a taste for an authentic Brown Brothers experience as you drink & dine your way around our travelling Cellar Door; starting with a unique collaboration at one of Townsville’s premier riverside venues, A Touch of Salt. Guests will enjoy roving canapes before sitting down to a decadent three-course dinner with matched wines from our exclusive Cellar Door ranges, co-presented by Brown Brothers’ Head Chef Bodee Price and A Touch of Salt’s Michael Brine.
Saturday 26.06 – Grapes of Mirth Goes Troppo
With the majority of comedians and crew hailing from Melbourne and the unpredictability of the Covid situation, Grapes of Mirth have made the difficult decision to cancel their Saturday show at Cluden Park Racecourse. There was great excitement around bringing Australia’s best comedians on tour with us, but we wholeheartedly support this decision and look forward to teaming up with Grapes of Mirth again in 2022.
And yet, not all is lost!
Their fearless leader, Merrick Watts, has already ‘gone Troppo’ and will join us as MC on the ground for Prosecco Brunch and our hero Wine & Food Festival, on Sunday 27th June. Be sure to say g’day and grab a photo as he floats around on the day.
Sunday 27.06 – Prosecco Brunch + Wine & Food Festival | with special guest Merrick Watts
The final day of our Townsville tour kicks off with a sparkling Prosecco Brunch back at Cluden Park, followed by an all-ages Wine & Food Festival in true Brown Brothers style. It’s the very first time we’re taking our Cellar Door on the road, bringing a taste of our King Valley home to Townsville’s tropical paradise… armed with some familiar faces, delicious food & sensational wines.
