On the palate this fortified is luscious and intense with caramel and aged rancio flavours – a direct result of blending mature and younger wines.

Growing Conditions: Australian Tawny is a complex blend of young, fresh fortified with older, softer material. The richness of Shiraz and the softness of Grenache together with smaller quantities of Cabernet Sauvignon, Carignan, Mataro and other varieties, combine together in the Soleras to produce this ‘tawny’ style.

Winemaking notes: Bottled from the solera as required, this bottling has an acid level of 5.2g/l, a pH of 3.86 and an alcohol of 18.0% by volume.
