This release of the Sparkling Rosé Moscato follows on from the success of the Moscato range of wines. Sparkling Rosé is a luscious and refreshing sparkling, with lovely red berry notes.
Recommended food pairings: The Sparkling Moscato Rosé is a classic aperitif wine to enjoy on its own. With food, it is great with a wedge of crisp pear wrapped in prosciutto or a fresh fruit platter and light style cheeses like brie or camembert.
Growing Conditions: This wine is made from Muscat of Alexandria grapes with a small percentage of Cienna (4%) to give the rosé colour. The grapes were harvested from mid-February to early April 2018 at baumés ranging from 10.7 to 12.9. The wine went through fermentation using the Charmat (tank) method to develop the desired bubble and was bottled soon after this with an alcohol of 7.0%, a pH of 3.25 and an acid level of 5.7g/L.
