Refreshingly Light Sauvignon Blanc 2020
2 Awards/Critics’ Notes
Our Sauvignon Blanc is bursting with passionfruit and honeydew-melon characters with elegantly balanced freshness.
Sourced from cool-climate Tasmanian vineyards this wine is vibrant, expressive and naturally lighter for year-long enjoyment.
Perfect for sharing with great friends in the sunshine.
The wine is approximately 30% lighter in alcohol than the Brown Brothers 1889 Sauvignon Blanc.

Recommended food pairings: Refreshingly Light Sauvignon Blanc makes a delicious accompaniment to steamed asparagus with pancetta and pecorino. Or why not try it with a traditional snake bean and corn seeded mustard salad. Also, the Sauvignon Blanc in France is often enjoyed with the salty and high acid goats cheese of the northwest.
Growing Conditions: The Sauvignon Blanc grapes used to make this wine were grown at our cool climate Tasmanian vineyards. The grapes for this wine were harvested throughout March and April.
Winemaker: Geoff Alexander
Winemaking notes: The wine was bottled soon after fermentation with an alcohol of 9.0%.
