Petit Verdot Wine Pack

How to build your own Petit Verdot Wine Pack:

  1. Simply select which wine you would like to add and how many bottles from the list below.
  2. Pack can be made of mixed wines as long as it has a total of 6 bottles in it.
  3. Due to low stock there is a limit of 1 bottle of each museum wine per pack.

Petit Verdot is one of Bordeaux’s classic red grape varieties, producing full-bodied, extremely deep coloured, concentrated wines with high tannins and alcohol. This grape variety has traditionally been used to add flavour, colour and tannin to the Bordeaux blends.

Petit Verdot 2006

Maximum of 1 bottle.

The fruit for this wine comes from our own Heathcote vineyard which sits on the rolling eastern slopes of the Mount Camel range near Bendigo. A small percentage is also sourced from a long-time contract grower in the Whorouly area of north east Victoria.

This wine would match well with char-grilled rib eye fillet on roasted Mediterranean vegetables. Alternatively this wine would go really well with a rich and flavoursome osso bucco, or a traditional flavoursome cassoulet.

Origins Series Dry Rosé 2020

With a luscious palate of juicy strawberry, watermelon & citrus notes this Dry Rosé is delightfully fresh & bright.
Perfect in aperitif. Also an excellent choice with fresh seafood – think Vietnamese prawn skewers, smoked trout bilinis with crunchy summer salads. Also perfect with a watermelon and berry fruit plate and lighter cheese like brie.

Origins Series Malbec 2019

Deep magenta in colour, this medium bodied red has vibrant aromas of violets and flavours of blackberries and spice. The palate has intense dark berries and clove spice.

Origins Series Tempranillo 2019

This wine is a smooth, fruit-driven red wine balancing notes of blackberry and plum with delicate spice.
Perfect match for a wide array of traditional Spanish dishes such as paella and tapas, as well as some classic Australian meals. The 2019 Tempranillo is also a great match with spicy salami pizza topped with capsicum, capers, olives and cheese.

1889 Shiraz 2018

A smooth and elegant Shiraz sourced from our Heathcote vineyard. This wine has fantastic lifted aromas of red and dark berry fruits and classic pepper notes.
This juicy Shiraz would be perfect with beef carpaccio drizzled in olive oil and topped with cracked black pepper and shaved parmesan cheese. Or try it with a Szechwan pepper coated tuna steak cooked medium rare with a light green salad.
