This beautifully bold wine embodies what our winemaking team strive for in making quality shiraz; spice and pepper aromas, a medium and elegant palate, integrated oak and fine structured tannins.
Recommended food pairings: This wine would make a perfect partner for slow cooked lamb and winter vegetables. Or why not try it with a grilled eye fillet of beef with a pear sauce and rocket, parmesan salad. The Patricia Shiraz is also a fantastic match with wash rind cheeses or dark chocolate.
Growing Conditions: The fruit was harvested in parcels from late March to April at baumés between 13.2 and 14.2.
Winemaker: Geoff Alexander
Winemaking notes: The parcels spent 18 months in 40% new French (15%) and American (35%) oak with the balance in older oak barriques and puncheons before bottling.
