Made with a blend of grapes grown in our Tasmanian and King Valley vineyards, the Devil's Corner Pinot Grigio comes alive with a youthful palate of ripe yellow pears, tropical fruits, and a hint of savoury spice.

Tasting Notes

Bright, vibrant and youthful in colour. It is fragrant and enticing with highlights of pears and tropical fruit, against an attractive herbal backdrop. The palate is showing excellent weight and intensity and loaded with the flavour of ripe, yellow pears and apple alongside some spice and savoury notes. The finish is crisp and clean and with enough acidity to leave the mouth watering for more.

Food Pairings

Serve with grilled sardines and a squeeze of lemon, or smoked trout ravioli finished in a pan with olive oil, capers and some diced chilli.

The fruit was harvested and loaded directly to the press with initial oxidative handling to achieve a vibrant white wine colour and avoid any pink hues. It was then racked and fermented in tank under protective conditions and cool temperature to preserve aromatic qualities. There was also a shiort period of partial lees contact and stirring in tank to aid in mouth feel and complexity.
