Located on the western banks of the Tamar River, Northern Tasmania, Kayena Vineyard is planted to a range of cool-climate varieties. The majority of the vineyard is planted on gentle undulating slopes with a northerly and north-easterly aspect. All vines are hand-pruned and a significant amount of the fruit produced at Kayena is hand harvested to produce grapes that display pristine fruit flavours and distinctive varietal character.
